The Pursuit Church

Annual Report

Each year our annual report is an excellent opportunity for us to stop and celebrate the things that God has done throughout the year. This report is not just a collection of numbers but a collection of the stories of God at work in the lives of the people who call The Pursuit home.

Letter From Pastor Tom

Dear Pursuit Family & Friends,
While the past few years have been difficult for many, 2022 was a turnaround year for our local church. We finally moved out of the global pandemic, people returned to in-person gatherings in greater numbers, our core ministries resumed, and we saw new and exciting ministries get started (For ministry details check out our annual report located above).

I am incredibly humbled by all the amazing people who are a part of our church. I want to say a special thank you to everyone who served in the church, prayed for the church, and contributed financially to the church. 2022 was a turnaround year largely in part because of your faithfulness as God’s people. Thank you!

Looking to 2023, I have great anticipation for what God has in store for us. This fall will mark 10 years since our very first services in the old strip club in downtown Minot. Later this year we plan to celebrate this milestone and reflect on all the incredible things we’ve seen God do in the past decade, but I firmly believe He is just getting started!

As we begin this new year of ministry, I have a question I want you to prayerfully consider, “How do you see God using you to make an even greater impact for His Kingdom this year?” Is it to start a community group and help a group of friends grow spiritually? Is it to serve on a ministry team on Wednesdays or Sundays and minister to people coming to our services? It is to leverage your resources in greater ways to help fund what God is doing through the church. If everyone who called The Pursuit home wrestled and responded to this question, just imagine the impact we could make together for His Kingdom in 2023.

Buckle up Pursuit Church, God has big things in store this year!

In Christ,

Tom Foisy, Lead Pastor

Downtown Faith Walk

Several hundred people gathered for live music, food trucks, ax throwing, and testimonies from 10 people in our faith community. 150 people participated in prize giveaways donated by downtown area businesses, and 75 were Momentum students. It was an evening spent connecting with others in our community and being encouraged in Christ.
