Dear Pursuit Family & Friends,
While the past few years have been difficult for many, 2022 was a turnaround year for our local church. We finally moved out of the global pandemic, people returned to in-person gatherings in greater numbers, our core ministries resumed, and we saw new and exciting ministries get started (For ministry details check out our annual report located above).
Looking to 2023, I have great anticipation for what God has in store for us. This fall will mark 10 years since our very first services in the old strip club in downtown Minot. Later this year we plan to celebrate this milestone and reflect on all the incredible things we’ve seen God do in the past decade, but I firmly believe He is just getting started!
As we begin this new year of ministry, I have a question I want you to prayerfully consider, “How do you see God using you to make an even greater impact for His Kingdom this year?” Is it to start a community group and help a group of friends grow spiritually? Is it to serve on a ministry team on Wednesdays or Sundays and minister to people coming to our services? It is to leverage your resources in greater ways to help fund what God is doing through the church. If everyone who called The Pursuit home wrestled and responded to this question, just imagine the impact we could make together for His Kingdom in 2023.
Buckle up Pursuit Church, God has big things in store this year!

I am incredibly humbled by all the amazing people who are a part of our church. I want to say a special thank you to everyone who served in the church, prayed for the church, and contributed financially to the church. 2022 was a turnaround year largely in part because of your faithfulness as God’s people. Thank you!

Downtown Faith Walk
Several hundred people gathered for live music, food trucks, ax throwing, and testimonies from 10 people in our faith community. 150 people participated in prize giveaways donated by downtown area businesses, and 75 were Momentum students. It was an evening spent connecting with others in our community and being encouraged in Christ.
Crystal Springs 2022
The summer of 2022 saw 63 students and 16 leaders headed to camp for fun, fellowship, and faith development. Students learned about the parable of the sower and which type of seed their heart could be. Mornings were spent in team building and small groups and afternoons were spent on the lake, water toys, or tubing. After dinner brought the large group games and time in chapel.
Students worshiped together and dove deeper into the life Jesus calls us to live. Several students gave their lives to Christ for the first time, others rededicated their walk to Him, and two students took the next step of baptism! The final night brought stories of students who were changed by their days at camp and encouragement being surrounded by students seeking Jesus. Everything changes at camp...it really does!

Day of Hope 2022
With the Mayor as a special guest, Day of Hope was made possible because forty different non-profit organizations offered their services to those in need. Those services reached three hundred people with a hundred of those receiving hair cuts. In addition to hair cuts and services provided, everyone who came was able to get a free winter jacket, hat, gloves and socks. Many services such as the clothes, food, and door prizes were paid for by donations by businesses
